A Pitcher of Grace
Monday, August 31st, 2009Let’s talk about redemption. Redemption is a constant work. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2). This shows that if there is an author, and if there is a finisher… there must be a process in-between. So your life is like a book that is constantly being written.
The Bible says God’s mercies are new every morning (Lam. 3:22-23). So these mercies are being poured out every morning on you. One of these mercies is “Grace”. Picture this: A pitcher that is hanging above your head… this pitcher is like the widow’s barrel of oil that never got empty. (1 Kings 17:16) This is the pitcher of grace that is constantly being poured out on the child of God. It’s never ending. This is the picture of our redemption! (more…)
