A Pitcher of Grace

Let’s talk about redemption.  Redemption is a constant work.  Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2).  This shows that if there is an author, and if there is a finisher… there must be a process in-between.  So your life is like a book that is constantly being written.

 The Bible says God’s mercies are new every morning (Lam. 3:22-23).  So these mercies are being poured out every morning on you.  One of these mercies is “Grace”.  Picture this:  A pitcher that is hanging above your head… this pitcher is like the widow’s barrel of oil that never got empty.  (1 Kings 17:16) This is the pitcher of grace that is constantly being poured out on the child of God.  It’s never ending.  This is the picture of our redemption!
