Welcome to the new website for Encouraging Word Ministries.  Our main purpose is to preach and teach the Word of God, and in turn, to encourage believers in their walk of faith.

God’s Word contains many beautiful promises for the child of God.  Many believers don’t know or haven’t studied the specific things the Bible says about them and their relationship to the Father.  With this website we hope to post articles, lessons and sermons that will encourage your hearts and bring comfort to your souls.

Lonna Poland is a Christian minister who has a love for the Word of God and sharing the Word with others.  She also has a love of music and has been writing and ministering in song for many years. 

Lonna was ordained as a minister of the gospel in 2004 through Crossroads Christian Bible College in Tallahassee, Florida. She currently resides in Willow Park, Texas and is very active in her local church, The Fellowship at Weatherford (Foursquare). She serves as a worship leader for House of Prayer ministry and leads home group Bible studies.

Under her own ministry banner, Encouraging Word Ministries, she publishes articles, sermons, and her own worship music online. She also has her own web design and hosting company… Lightning Web Designs & Hosting .
